If I could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, I would trade places with Olympic Softball Catcher, Stacey Nuveman. I would trade places with her because she is the catcher for the U.S Olympic Softball Team. I am also a catcher and love softball. I think it would be a great experience to be able to switch lives with her for a day. I would have the chance to catch for Olympic pitchers. I could also learn a lot and gain experience. When the Olympics were on in August, they always broadcast them in the United States at four in the morning. So I would get up to watch our team play. I watched Stacey Nuveman as she would catch for great pitchers like Jennie Finch, Lisa Fernandez, and Cat Osterman. I tried to recognize all the little things she did that helped not only the pitchers but the whole team. To be able to trade places with her for the day would be one of the greatest experiences of my life. I would have the chance to meet some of my role models. Besides having the chance to catch I would also be able to hit and watch some of the greatest hitters in the world. If I was able to switch places with Stacey Nuveman for the day, I would have the chance to be coached by one of the best, Mike Candrea. Another great added plus is that I wouldn't even have to wear a different uniform number; we both share the number 33. To be able to switch lives with Stacey Nuveman for the day would be like a dream come true. I always say how I would love to be a bat girl for the USA Olympic Softball Team. If I was able to switch lives with Nuveman that would be even better. This chance would provide not only a great memory but also a perfect opportunity for a learning experience. It would help me to learn things that could make me a better player right now when I need to be. This would definitely make for one of the greatest memories of my life!
