Examples from the text

Heroism

When there is injustice, there is always a hero that gives a glimmer of hope to the disadvantaged, and their role is often undermined.

Atticus Finch is considered a hero by the African American community in Maycomb, as he gave them hope, and a glimmer of justice.

Stereotyping someone based upon physical attributes is stupid, as more often than not, they are the opposite of what you expect them to be.

Bob Ewell stereotyped against Tom Robinson, and thought of him as any old negro man, where in actual fact, he is a very polite, modest and respectful man.

Bringing up children

The way that you bring up your children, and what you teach and influence upon them, is very powerful, and can either be positive or negative.

Atticus Finch brought up his children to believe that there is injustice in Maycomb, and helped them want to spark change in their town, and create equality.
