I think what he was trying to say is that you can't just try to make your own future. sometimes it is just the way it goes and you can't do anything about because it was destiny. But alone the way we will find that is will be very emotional and have a lot of suffering before it will get better. Further more I would like to add that you don't need to be someone that is not you. you have to be yourself in order to find your destiny. Also I think that Europe would be more advance

#2 persecution in my life today would be running away from things that will takes me off track of what I am trying to do in my life so I don't mess things up. Also by running away from of what I believe is really is breaking me apart because God has a set plan for us and we can't go and change it based on what you want

#3 everything that you do in life is making you better because you find out how to do it then you can teach it to others. Also when you do this it can help you by see how others do it to get a different understanding and not just looking at how you do It. Sometimes it's better to get a second options on things so that you don't just think what you do is the best way.

#4 Jesus is basically telling you to take only what you need and help others who are less fortunate. By this you could just help out at a food drive or donate to a food drive. Further more just setting aside time out of your life to worry about other people that you normally don't in a average day. They are still applicable in society today because we all have to do service ours that we give to other and expect nothing in return.

#5 you can't make peace with something by running away from it or avoiding it. You can actually learn a lot from it by not just giving up on yourself and getting what needs to be done. Also you might be able to find more peace with yourself if you do all things you need to do and not just blow them off. Hopefully
