Drillin in Alaska Wildlife Refuges should not take place because the US should depleat their stockpiled reserves for the reason of oil dependency being at an all time high, the technological advances are ushering a negative rate of dependency, and lastly, the US needs to protects its wildlife refuges to save species and wilderness.

At this very moment, the US government has a record amount of oil stockpiled in case something happens where the US population is in need of the fossil fuel and there is no other way of getting it even through importation. Many are in favor of the stockpile because the US undoubtedly gets into emergencys where gas is needed but we have yet to get into an emergency that has taken a toll on the reserves or even dented the amount of barrels in our possesion.
