Three Amazing Heroes
Hero stands for different things to different people. Some people understand heroes as a film or sports star. But for others, they are handsome, rich, and powerful. Are these really required to be a hero? What is a hero and what makes someone a hero? Heroes are role-models, people that have special characteristics, people who are not afraid of being a good leader. There are three people who fit these qualifications. That's T.I, my uncle Conrad, and Katniss from The Hunger Games.
There are many types of heroes, famous ones for example, can do many things in this world. But there is only one person who stands out to me, T.I. This rapper stands out to me because on October 13th, 2010 he saved a man from jumping to his death. In order for him to be a hero he would have to be kind, brave, a role model, courageous or have something special about him. Well he has many characteristics, but to be brave enough to save someone jumping from a 22 story building, that's gotta get some recognition right? Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., which is T.I's real name, is brave, and shows kindness to anyone, and everyone he sees. That is why he is my celebrity hero.
My personal hero is my Uncle Conrad. Even though I haven't seen him much throughout my life he can still be a hero, my hero. He is like a dad to me.The main thing that I love about him the most is that he is like a dad to me because he cares about me more than my actual dad does. My uncle Conrad is supportive and helps me with whatever I need help with. (Relationships, school, friends, family, whatever it may be, he is there to "save the day.") He has his own kids, but to take care of his kids and still be there for my family at the same time too that takes skill! He always tries to have a positive attitude, even through the worst situations. He doesn't take any, let's just say 'drama' from anyone.
