Website: Salon (hair, manicures, spa, ext) Website (sort of like facebook but for salons)
I think some of the worst run businesses are hair salons.
Downfalls of salons:
* You never know if your hairdresser has moved salons
* When you call into a new salon you never really know what hairdresser you are going to get and what they cost
* Rarely an online booking service
* You have no idea if their hairdresser can do that cut you are looking for
Therefore, over the last few days as I tried to push the thought out of my head I came up with my own ideas for what I would do:
- online booking system (make your appointment online)
- staff profiles online (read about who will be cutting your hair)?
- online recent popular cuts - so you can browse before you go in
We can pitch a management system to salons where we offer their profile on our website that include:
- hairdresser bios
- services offered
- appointments available
- it will update what is new with the salon and if any hairdressers have move (where they have gone)
- hair style pictures done by the hairdressers (in case you are going to a wedding and want a certain hairstyle you know your hairdresser can do it)
- you can search in google
-on our website you can search things like "bob haircut in Burlington Ontario" and all the hairdressers that do that cut will pop up - where they are located and at what cost this cut will be
Ideas to think about:
* If we market this idea and our brand correctly all consumers will start using the system
