Time is Romantic
Imagine a world where time is romantic. Where every moment is spent to show love and passion to your lover. Where it is okay to show that you care. You chose who you love and noone is forced into anything. The day that you meet them everything changes from black and white to color. The perfect world.
Time carries on in hope of finding that one true person that fits you perfectly. Image their hair. That perfect sandy blonde that looks so soft in the sun. Their eyes so perfectly blue with the small tint of green around the pupil and the sparkle they get when they learn something new. Their smile that lights up your world. When you are near them your heart pounds. They invade your dreams when you are apart but fill your senses when you are close. Imagine the day you first met. Just like every cliche story he was a jerk. You hated him then when he told you to shush. Before you knew it you started to like him. Everything started slow. You were still able to deny that childish crush. At first you were drawn in by his looks than his intelligence. Then, when you didn't expect it, he was kind. You finally were able to get past that first impression. You started to notice that smile he would give you when you felt bad or just didn't feel pretty. You don't know how but he always seemed to know. You started to find a way to see him everyday. Your friends would make fun of you when you would squeal when he would walk by. Everybody thought you were a fan girl freaking out over her celebrity crush. After a while you started to question his intelligence. Everyone seemed to notice how much you care and how much should you liked this guy. He was so oblivious you were practically kissing the ground he walked on, praying to him like he was a god. When you couldn't take it anymore, you had to tell somebody.
After about three months you finally told your mom. She freaked out and thought that her little girl was growing up. You told your siblings and they said that “feelings like this didn't exist in school. You have to be older, you have to be mature, and you have to go through heartbreak before you know any of this is real.” Then one day he got a girlfriend. Even if you didn't have a thing you were kind of crushed. Your friends told you were being ridiculous. You kept telling yourself that they wouldn't last, that it couldn't last, it shouldn't last. You started to become a little obsessive. Everything that you did, everything that you thought had something to do with him. You started to lose sleep thinking about him. It started to become a little creepy to you. In the end you gave up you couldn't go on thinking that he likes somebody else, that he was dating somebody else. Then, when you least expected it they broke up. He wouldn't talk to anybody unless they were a guy, you kind of started to think he was gay. But, the passion and in all honesty the love that you had started to feel for him all came crashing back the moment he gave you that kind and boyish smile that he did before. The smile that you loved.
