TIME TRAVEL

There are many periods in history that interest me. Historical events are landmarks in your life that you can refer to when reflecting on the past. If time travel where possible and I was able to change an event in the last century I would choose to change the morning of September 11th, 2001. The day that we all remember as the day the United States was domestically attacked. A day that we all have vowed to never forget, and that we would seek retaliation. That Tuesday morning has changed the world as we know it and have affected every one of us. The events that I would most likely influence would be the terrorist's mind set, the deaths from the attacks on the Twin Towers, and lastly the lives lost in the war on Iraq.

The words out of the Qur'an "and fight in the way of Allah with those who fight against you and do not transgress bounds in this fighting. God does not love the transgressors. Kill them wherever you find them and drive them out of the place from which they drove you out and remember persecution is worse than carnage. But do not initiate war with them near the Holy Kabah unless they attack you there. But if they attack you, put them to the sword without any hesitation". If you were a devote Muslim and you were brought up extremely religious and your Holy book of truth had these exact words in the contents, it would almost seem as if it were the word of God. Ultimately, that is what happened and what is still happening. If I could change the way that the terrorist are taught and also changing their beliefs into more socially accepted beliefs, I

believe that the events of September 11th would have never occurred or been on a much smaller scale, possible even a protest.

Two planes collide with the two largest man made structures in North America. Causing a massive collapse the Federal Aviation Administration halts all flights in the world. The world is in a state of awe, no one knows what to believe. All we can see is the total destruction that is laid upon us. President Bush warned all of America that the deaths were going to reach number in the thousands. All of the deaths that resulted from this attack had nothing to do with any of the people on any kind of personal level. If I could simply change
