Times have changed
Tired of the stereotyped society, human beings have been sparing no effort to reach another peak of the times. Since the Third Scientific Revolution, ancient lives had been greatly improved. However, compared with those at present, they were much tougher- even went beyond our imagination. As far as I am concerned, the times have always been being changed by people since a long time ago. And that’s why we are living in such a modern and developed era.
In the past, when our parents were still in their childhood, though life was tough, they still made a living. Without developed technology, they could only work as labor force in order to give an impetus to the civilization. As expected, the era was pushed forward, and times have changed.
In a time of social reform, people’s state of mind tends to keep pace with the rapid changes of society. In my opinion, life today is much easier than it once was thanks to the accomplishment of technology. The rapid and significant progress of civilization proved the glory of today. What’s more, we’ve got to know that the footsteps of our predecessors and their previous efforts shouldn’t be denied. Instead, it’s our duty to seek the way they’ve been working on, and explore the unknowns with the desire to learn.
In a word, times have changed. Ceasing to advance is not the trend of the 21st century. Only if we keep struggling can we eventually reach the peak of our own era. We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of our exploration will be to arrive at where we started, and know the place for the first time.
