Total Quality Management is a key role in running a business. One must always keep in mind that customer satisfaction is very important. In the following paper manufacturing, service, and non-profit organizations will be discussed among customer satisfaction. The three organizations that will be discussed is Texas Industries (TXI), Federal Express (FedEx), and The Troy Aikman Foundation.

TXI is a leading supplier and manufacturer of cement, aggregate and consumer product building materials. All types of construction such as residential, commercial and public works use these materials. TXI's future, like its past, will be built by the dedicated men and women of TXI. TXI's foundation is built on the strength of it employees, who are innovative risk-takers focused on making the company the low-cost producer in the marketplace. Throughout its history, TXI has consistently used the latest technologies and efficient manufacturing methods to gain and retain its leadership position in the industry. Always aware of its safety and environmental stewardship, the company continues to broaden its efforts to remain at the forefront in these areas (TXI, 2006). Its history of innovation, creativity, flexibility and openness to change continues to ensure TXI's success.

FedEx began operations in the United States on April 17, 1973, with the launch of 14 small aircraft from Memphis International Airport. On that night, Federal Express delivered 186 packages to 25 U.S. cities. Since that historic day more than 30 years ago, FedEx has continued to expand its services and add to its unique history (FedEx, 2006). Today, FedEx Corporation is composed of a network of companies that provide more products and services to more people and places across the globe. The United States is home to FedEx Corporation and its operating companies, to include FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Services, FedEx Trade Networks, FedEx Custom Critical and FedEx Services. Every generation expects easier access to more of what the world has to offer. More products and services. More information and ideas. More people and places (FedEx, 2005). FedEx helped create that expectation. And they deliver on it millions of times a day, providing the access to transform possibilities into reality.

Troy Aikman established the Troy Aikman Foundation in 1992, as a non-profit organization committed to helping needy children. The Foundation is a public charitable organization. Initially the Foundation's goal was to help children
