I believe in treating dogs with respect and kindness.
Almost everyday a horrifying news story can be found about a dog that has been neglected, abused, and or left to die. I just wonder to myself how can a someone harm this helpless most innocent dog. This a a dog that cannot talk or fight back against the human who is beating them down mentally and physically. Dogs just want to be loved and cared for. They will always come back to you and won't give up. People who neglect dogs and other animals do not realize they are missing out on a unconditional love and a true friendship that they can have and enjoy with a dog. I have always felt a strong love for dogs. A dog's love is so heartwarming. Nothing is better than arriving home to a wagging-tail and a bundle of joy to greet you. Puppy mills are another cruel thing to do to a dog. It is a dog breeding operations and many dogs are plagued with illnesses like kidney or heart disease as a result of the conditions they’re kept in. Something even worse than the puppy mills is dog fighting. Dogfighting became popular in the US after the Civil War with professional pits proliferating in the 1860s. And was a source of entertainment for police officers and firemen. Some people just don't think about what they are doing to these poor animals. There was a 43 year old man in 2011 named Keith John Parker who had a female pit bull puppy, he had named his puppy Cricket. He was intoxicated had attached a leash to his van and to the dog and had drugged his dog behind his van. Cricket had suffered from a lot of scrapes, she had a swollen nose and even had lost one of her paws. Parker was sentenced to 93 days in jail and a police officer adopted Cricket. Cricket didn't ask to be treated that way. Cricket just wanted someone who cared for her. Dogs can bring out the best in a person and can always be there for a person.
This is why I believe that all
