As part of the last homework for Research methodology our task is to deliver a triangulation of Donald Trump statement : “Nobody respects women more than me”.
In this contest I decided to collect the below data in order to analyze his statement and separate fact from opinions. Therefore I collected the following documentation, direct observation and archival records, most of which were collected through the internet and on online databases.
Abortion view:
Trump view on abortion are controversial as he started as a pro-choice, then as pro-choice but against the abortion and when he started his campaign he went to a full pro-life stance.

As US is one of the developed country with no Maternity Leave, Trump proposed a paid six week leave for mothers to make child care more affordable.

Sexual assault in the military:
While some argue that his message was to kick out all the women from the army others argue that his point was that more people needed to be prosecuted as the conviction rate was very low.

Dating woman that are not below her daughter age:
Trump stated “I have a deal with her. She’s 17 and doing great — Ivanka. She made me promise, swear to her that I would never date a girl younger than her”, however later he claimed he was joking.

Attacking Arianna Huffington and Carly Fiorina
Arianna Huffington, the co-founder of the known news media Huffington Post is usually a target for Trump tweets, although she is not attacked for her political views but rather on her appearance and his past divorce.
Carly Fiorina was another republican candidate, on which he made the following statement: "Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?" . It is not sure whether he implied that women should not candidate for presidency or the statement was directed towards her as a candidate.

Trump books and quotes regarding women:
Trump published several books, while most of them have anecdotes regarding his personal and business life, in several occasion we can find references to women and his view towards them:
“There’s nothing I love more than women, but they’re really a lot different than portrayed. They are far worse than men, far more aggressive, and boy, can they be smart” - The Art of the Comeback, Donald J. Trump, 1997
““Nobody cares about the talent. There’s only one talent you care about, and that’s the look talent. You don’t give a shit if a girl can play a violin like the greatest violinist in the world. You want to know what does she look like.” – TrumpNation, Timothy L. O'Brien Page, 2005
“Women on The Apprentice flirted with me , consciously or unconsciously, That’s to be expected. A sexual dynamic is always present between people, unless you are asexual." How to Get Rich, Donald J. Trump, 2004
The “Locker room banter talk”:
Transcript:
Trump: “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful [women] I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it, you can do anything.”

Trump :“Grab them by the p---y, you can do anything.”
