Going forward with the request would be consistent with company`s tolerance with well-intentioned failure in case of an unsuccessful attempt, as this was crucial in the company`s growth model.

Yes, I would introduce the TV to the market. In my opinion, it would be an excellent way to gain knowledge on the new market, and to start to stablish their brand name, which is very important for local consumers. However, to launch the product, it would be more advisable to have a clear competitive advantage, which in this case, could be the price as there is potential for further cost reduction, the chassis is already developed and the development would be made with a manufacturing mindset. Moreover, allowing the local team to go forward with this initiative would give them a sense of autonomy, boost the morale of the team, encourage them to make their own decisions, including making mistakes if necessary and this would make them ready to start identifying opportunities and proposing solutions for a market they are better prepared to serve.
