From the beginning, the company’s culture was based on Zhang’s personal values of kindness, and personal empowerment. Employees are given remarkable decision-making capabilities under the latter while drilled on imbuing every element of customer service with the former.

In Haidilao, even waiting for seats can be enjoyable. So they always starts with the door man waiting for you and welcoming you with a big smile. Another person waiting for you at the elevator and welcoming you again. If your table is not ready they offer you different drinks and kinds of chess on the desk, newest play cards aside and services like nail care for women and shoe care for men available all the time. During dining, you are provided frequently with warm hand towels, a pinafore with ethnic feature, hair string for girls, glass cloth in case that the drop splits to your glasses and a small plastic bag to put your big screen cell phone in. The waiter was almost like a personal butler, only a nod or look away. Even the restroom attendants and table cleaners turned their work into a good customer experience. All staff seemed to take great pride in their work and did Sterling jobs! When you order fresh (kung fu) noodles the chef comes out and gives you a noodle gymnastics band demonstration.Every waiter and waitress has the right to give you a free meal in particular situation. Also free valet parking.
This is guest experience and customer service to the max.
And they also provide service to come to your house with a hotpot and food and will come back to take it away and clean up your table.

Every worker there sincerely loves their work because the company treats them like family and offers great career skill training and health insurance to everyone, including their children’s entrance to kindergarten. The loyalty of their group is the most crucial advantage of Haidilao. Marketing is everyone’s responsibility in this company instead of limited within the marketing department.
Price of food
a little pricey with most fresh food, their typical guest check will cost $30 and more per person. price about double of average hotspot place.

Target Consumers
Applebee’s average target consists of a core market including people between the ages of 35-54 years old, and a secondary market of those between the ages of 25-34. In order to have a successful Applebee’s in the US. , the target market would be altered somewhat, due to the large numbers of young adults, who are under the age of 25. The new target market would have 18-34 year olds as the primary target, with 35-54 year olds as the secondary market.
Restaurant Products
Applebee’s restaurant provides a need for a new fresh restaurant where people can enjoy a good meal or a refreshing drink. The restaurants that will fall as competition for Applebee’s will be Chevy’s, Red Lobster, and Olive Garden. However, Applebee’s already has an established customer base. Most people here have been to an Applebee’s and would enjoy having an Applebee’s in the area.
They have knowledge of the methods of preparing meats and vegetables in quantity lots as well as a knowledge of the cooking time and temperatures of various foods and methods of preserving their flavor and food value. They must also know the principles of personal and food sanitation. Considerable knowledge of the dietary requirements for a variety of special diets and allowable substitutions for various food items found on diet menus.
