Dear Vestry Circle,
I hope this message finds you well as it appears that Spring has Sprung as we prepare for Holy Week. There are many activities at St. Francis as we ready for the great celebration of Easter. Please review the Holy Week Schedule attached.
We are collecting plastic eggs and individually wrapped candies for the Grand Egg Hunt. If you would like to help with this, please bring any donations to the church. Pre-stuffed eggs are swell. Please invite your friends and neighbors with children to attend this event.
We are on the look-out for any volunteers to help with bringing in extra chairs for the Easter Service. As you know, our Easter service has the highest attendance of any service all year. This is also a great time to welcome or welcome back folks to St. Francis. Please assist the Vestry in making all feel welcomed by optimizing seating, sharing prayer books, and making sure visitors have programs for the worship service. If you are able to park in the back, that would be terrific too. Our hope is to comfortably seat everyone wanting to celebrate that Christ is Risen!
We will have a great Easter Feast after the Service on the 16th. Please join us and bring your favorite cover dish, salad, or dessert. The Vestry will bring Tea and Ham. We will set up for the party after the Easter Vigil Service on Saturday if you care to join us.
The Outreach Commission is still in need of size 4 & 5 diapers for Oak Mountain Ministries. Rebecca will be blessing the diaper offering once a month and including the children to bring the offering to the altar in a red wagon in celebration of the wonderful ministry.
Please keep Sybil West in your prayers as we surround her with love as she will be
