Visiting amusement parks became every little kids’ dream, and parents made sure to satisfy their demands. Sea World’s audience depended on children, and made their shows solely favorable to kids. Informing the audience that the animals are pleased to preform to what should be considered as a circus act. The dolphins are grateful to be given fish, which can be caught in the wild with their abilities, after jumping into hoops on command. Numerous sugarcoated lies told by the multi-million dollar corporation to justify the act of capturing these intelligent creatures for revenue. As a result, families fell for this act, I myself included, and continued to support Sea World for years. Whenever I visited the park, it would always be a pleasant trip for me and my family. The experience Sea World preformed for the crowd was like an enchanted fairy-tale finished with vibrant fireworks. The leaps that the 6 ton 25 feet Orcas, and their tail-splashes towards the audience made me intrigued for more. However, it wasn’t until I grew older and developed a finer sense of sympathy towards animals, that I knew these acts were inhumane. These creatures are treated less than what they are capable of, and are deemed as a source of revenue. Yet, some of the animals are born into captivity, and the rest have been accustomed for many years. Thus resulting in the question, after granting freedom are they able to adapt to their what-should-be natural habitat? Based on my research on animals born or brought into confinement, the assumption that releasing those who live in captivity is necessary and a positive good appears to be difficult to determine.

Killer Whales, also known as Orcas, have massive brain sizes compared to humans. They are found to have an astounding amount of intelligence and are capable of feeling emotions and recalling memory.
