Vomit and Rejection

The wedding has come and gone, with more stories to last me through the next year. The good news is that Jordan and Liz are finally married. No more bets, (mostly lost on my part) no more questions about the wedding date, no more impatient hints, it's all over. Unfortunately, the wedding itself was not a fun day for the bride or the groom. Much could be said/typed about the days before and the days of, but there just isn't enough memory space on my computer. To make a really long story short, Liz's sister Julia (maid of honor) got sick the day of the wedding. She called Liz about two hours before the wedding and told her sister that she could not stand up with her as Liz got married, she was just too sick. Now you would think that was enough to ruin the beautiful bride's day. However, luck was not on her side as she too became so sick that she threw up in the middle of the ceremonyÐ'...right in the middle of a very solemn time of prayer. Wow. I felt terrible for her. They had to start the reception in the middle of the ceremony on account that the bride was puking behind the trees. Welcome to the Carlson household. Let the freak show begin.

Eventually they were able to say their vows in front of the house, but Liz had to make them quick, afraid that she might have to puke again. Beautiful, just freaking beautiful.

They are off and away at their honeymoon, haven't heard a word from them but I think that's pretty much normal. Poor Liz and Jordan. They didn't even get to see their wedding cake! All the work they put into the wedding was wonderful, everyone thought the wedding was beautiful, it's just a shame that they couldn't witness it.

The sickness went around the family, that night I got sick and puked about 6 times in one night. Jailyn was sick, and mom got sick a day later. A few more caught the bug as well, and it was quite the deal. Like I said, the good news is that they are married. That's all that matters at this point.
