Abstract

In this document we will be discussing the meaning of the criminal justice system.

When people hear the word criminal justice. What do they think? Some think of prison or crime. There is a lot to say about the criminal justice system. Know matter what opinions and views the public has about the criminal justice system. Justice will always prevail.

What Justice means to me

When it comes to criminal justice. There is a huge meaning behind that word. To me it means protecting and serving. Helping others in need that is why we have law enforcement. In order to making sure justice is served we have judges. Today's society we have had lots of crime. Justice does not actually mean crime it also means that there are a lot of good Samaritans out there keeping America safe from any harm. Right now there is a war going on. Soldiers are protecting America from terrorism. By protecting and upholding the law I will make sure that I will do my very best at whatever it is that I will be doing as police officer. If it is talking at a school about safety or helping an elderly person across the street. If you really think about there is not a lot of crime in Oklahoma. The most serious thing Oklahoma has had was the Murrah Bombing. Such a terrible issue to talk about. I believe justice was served in that case. I know as a police officer its going to take a lot of good decision-making I see it like we are role models for the younger adolescence. United States today has a neighborhood watch, which means people in neighborhood watch for anything suspicious in their neighborhood. Today in shopping malls and banks there are cops to help supervise in case of any wrong doing. The justice system uses lawyers for civil and criminal action. Once a client hires a lawyer they start investigation of the problem and try there best to suit their clients needs. Look at the OJ trial his attorney did a great job I think. We all don't know if he was innocent or guilty still today only one man knows the truth and that is OJ. Some famous people such as stars take advantage of the system by using publicity. Some of the stories are fictional and some aren't. Look at Bill Clinton that was really none
