Our country needs a strict but just kind of government for us to maintain peace and order. A government that can implement its policies strongly so that the country will be able to stand on its own and without depending completely in foreign countries. It is very suitable for the Filipinos to choose their own leaders and representatives that will lead them and for them to be organized. These leaders should be aware of their responsibilities and do their job well. The people should be the main center of the government because without them this system will mean nothing. The public must play a more active part if we want a better future for us and our children. They should be fully aware on what is actually happening with their money.

In my form of government, I would like to focus on four aspects, the natural resources, corruption, education and the cultural aspects. No one doubts that the Philippines is rich in terms of natural resources. These resources must be protected and be used wisely. Rather than importing products from other countries, we must value and use what is around us. Patronage on our local products and tourist spots is a great help in the growth of the economy. Another factor that will help boost our economy is the abolition of the corrupt system. Corruption is a one of the country’s largest problem. It is an insidious plague that has a wide range of corrosive effects on societies. It weakens democracy and the rule of law that leads to the violation of human rights, and damages the quality of life and allows organized crime and other threats to human security. There should always be a fair judgment between the high class and low class. This corruption hurts the poor greatly because they lack power against other people that is why they are being used. There should be proper distribution of services to the people and value equality. Everyone should have a high level of moral standard and in order to attain this, the education aspect comes in. The quality of the country’s education must improve. More funds must be given to this aspect because the more and better educated a people, the greater the chances of economic development. It must encourage the youth to be the catalyst of change and bring back life to culture. Education is just one of the many ways to promote our national culture again. It is very important for everyone to learn about our own identity. The last aspect is the cultural aspect. The government should form or implement organizations promoting our own culture. Filipinos are known to have integrity and honesty that is why I believe that these solutions will be possible.
