What Speaks Louder?
An action speaks louder than words, or is speaking actually the right action to take. You cannot state this line unless you understand the true context. It's the matter of believing what someone may say they will do. Speaking can sometimes be the action; Action may be the way of expressing what you want to say. You can also say that speaking and taking action overpowers them all. It can work either way depending on the situation.
When George W. Bush had declared war on Terrorism were you expecting him to jump into army gear and go out and start searching for terrorists? George Bush's action was declaring war on terrorism. Speakers are usually the ones who are representing another that may be taking action. His words let the people know that our armed forces will be taking action to stop the terrorist organizations trying to hurt our country; not to let you know that he will be heading over to the Middle East and starting our search. Sometimes, listening to another tell us what he/she is going to do to solve a problem is enough to insure us that we can believe our problem will be solved. I've watched George Bush on T.V., and I may not always agree with what he is saying but I know that he is going to get done what he says he is going to do. This is because he is a speaker and his job is to tell you what he is going to do to solve a problem.
Sometimes it's hard to believe someone just by hearing what they have to say. Sometimes you need the insurance of watching this person take action. For example, when a musical group or artist says that they will be writing a new album that is supposed to be out by a certain time. It isn't good enough for me to hear something like that, I want to see a person get in the studio and start writing and recording so that I don't get letdown.
