Dear Dr. Hunter,

It has come to my attention you currently have five patients in need of a heart transplant. Each patient has a specific need, complication, or medical history that individualizes them from one another, but I believe only one truly stands out. John Williams, a professional basketball star, TV personality, husband and father.

John is young, active, and has access to the finest quality medical care money can provide. His body is physically in the best of shape, and he stays very healthy, which is key when it comes to recovery from a heart transplant. He can afford to have the finest surgeon, care team, and top of the line hospital to perform his procedure.

We all know that sometimes the difference between life and death is simply the environment in which someone is treated and recovered in. It is no lie when I state that his health as well as his resources will be the key factors in why this man deserves this heart. He has a large family who will be able to continue such an excellent, around the clock care that someone of your other candidates will not have.

Rachel Greenberg, another candidate, simply does not have the home resources she needs to have an easy recovery. While Jacob Smith is a recovering addict who has a high chance of damaging his heart again, when and if given strong painkillers, which will only damage his new heart. Marilyn Wilson and Gloria Nguyen are young and have a lower chance of rejecting the organ, but Gloria is simply too small, and Marilyn is battles anorexia, which could weaken her already fragile body during recovery. Finally, Archibald Mc Farland III is already at such an old age, the risk of complication is through the roof.

John Williams is the safest, best, and most deserving of the candidates. I thank you for your time, and hope you consider John for this lifesaving treatment.
