 Who is the Target Market for Gourmantra? Describe them and discuss why you think Gourmantra has been successful so far.

- The target is people who want to eat Indian meal, but they don’t have the right spice.

- I think Gourmantra did a lot of promotion in society, such as university and some shops. Furthermore, they collected many feedback and keep improve their products. They make a packet that include rice, sauces and spice. This kind of packet helped consumers easier to cook in a short time, even they didn’t cook before. Their products are simple and easy to use.

 Are there any other groups/segments that you believe Gourmantra could target and be successful? Why?

- I think they can add some more different style of food, such as Chinese food packet and Japanese food packet. Because Canada is an international country, there are many different people, and only Indian style product can’t engage people to buy their products.

 Write a brief positioning statement for Gourmantra - imagine that you are briefing an ad agency that is going to design the packaging and promotion plan for Gourmantra and this positioning statement is the agency’s blueprint or guide for everything that they do for Gourmantra.

 Name and briefly describe the stages of the Product Life Cycle. What are the key Marketing Objectives at each stage?

- Product life cycle is 4 part, Introduction stage, growth stage, maturity stage and decline stage. Introduction stage is the business start sell their product, but usually loses money on the product. Growth stage is the market has accepted the product and sales begin to increase, also the company want to make improvements. Maturity stage is sales will reach their peak, other competitors enter the market, making competition in the market fierce. Decline stage is the sales begin to decrease, the market will see the product as old and no longer in demand.

 What stage is Gourmantra at now? What do you think is the most important & critical part of their marketing strategy at this stage that will allow the brand to grow and be profitable?

- I think Gourmantra is at growth stage. The most important part of their marketing strategy is promotion, they need to let more people
