Why assisted suicide should not be permitted

Assisted suicide is considered as an extreme solution for permanent damage that occurs

to a patient without any other ways to solute. The methods usually include using lethal medicine

or even lethal but not irrational gas. But assisted suicide should not be permitted due to the fact

that it may cause the problems like “invalidity of individual’s illness”, “unethical untrustworthy

people” or be considered as “a short term-solution” for the patients.

From the article that BBC news published in 2009, the report shows us, "The data of

assisted suicide during 1998-2008, the deaths was at a peak during years 2001-2008; Even in

2006, the assisted suicide from Dignitas patients went to a number around 200 "(Assisted

suicide: Debate 1). So the question is revealed that actually there are a lot of people in each years

that are seeking the opportunity to commit suicide either from the pressure of their families, their

workplaces, or even from themselves. But the problem comes out that there are not much

countries in the world that supports the law of allowing assisted suicide existed. So there is even

a tourism for suicide. Shown here "The Swiss government has drafted two papers aimed to

regulation assisted suicide, one suggesting restrictions to the current law, and another proposing

a pan on assisted suicide organizations."(16). So why is a government that allows assisted suicide

somehow showing a will to reject their decision and even propose to ban the organizations for

supporting assisted suicide?

First of all, the assisted suicide is really in a position that some patients may abuse to use

this method to end their illness, or pain for something that is not a big deal. There are a lot of

patients all around the world are trying to cure their diseases in order to back a normal life. Some

patients will try to fight their illness and try to overcome with any costs, but some of them just
