Why I Believe In Creationism
The topic of Evolution is not something that I believe everyone enjoys talking about. Maybe it is because no one feels they can prove Evolution or Creationism. From the research I have done in the past couple of months, I do not believe Evolution is correct. All scientists have done is come up with reasons why creation is wrong. I am not saying all great scientists in the world have made a mistake and they are wrong; I am simply trying to say that if someone chooses to believe in Evolution then someone else can choose to believe in a savior that created the earth we stand on. I believe the theory of Evolution is incorrect because it is not a scientific fact, it is just a theory. I choose to believe in Creationism not because I can prove it is right or because it has more evidence, but simply because I believe in Jesus Christ.
What do you think of when a baby is born? Some people would just giggle and smile and talk about how cute the baby is. But when you see a baby being born, do you ever think about how such a beautiful life formed in a mothers belly for nine months? Or how the baby knows how to take its first breath after it comes out of the mother's womb? Or the complexity of it's little fingers and toes? No man could ultimately explain this. This leads me to one of the reasons why I do not believe in Evolution. It was a theory made up from a man. Darwin distorted science to prove there is no God; and that Adam and Eve, the very first people to walk this earth, never existed. How can Darwin prove there is no God if he has never given Him a chance? The way this theory has been forced in the schools does not give students the choice to choose what they believe. Instead, they are being taught one side of the story and never hearing the other. Another reason that I do not believe in the Theory of Evolution is the simple fact that evolution tells us that everything happened by chance. When I look at the stars at night and then try to imagine that this wonder just happened, it just does not make sense. There has got to be a designer behind it. Dr. Werner Von Braun said, "To be forced to believe in only one conclusion- that everything happened by chance-would violate the very objectivity of science itself...what random process could produce the brains of a man or the system of the human eye?" This statement is right on target; it is common sense. Just look at the people around you. If someone has ever studied a cell, they would know that one single cell is incredibly complex and to say it just happened would go against the laws of science. Also, to believe in evolution would mean I believe I have no purpose. Thomas Carlyle said "The man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder- a waif, a nothing, a no man." One of my favorite verses in the bible is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." There are so many myriads
