Why I Want a Husband?
I am a husband and a proud father of five very bright and good-looking children. A friend of mine came to visit me. She mentioned that she was thinking about getting a husband. While I was taking a shower one morning, I asked myself what my life would be like if I had the ideal husband.
I want a husband who will take care of all the household problems when and if he feels like it. My head of the household would not mind waking up in the middle of the night to fix the drip, drip, drip in the bathroom shower. I want a husband who is able to fix the car when it is on the blink. In addition, he should not complain driving to gas station to buy a gallon of gasoline. And, of course, I want a husband who would change the oil so that I would not have to get my hands dirty. I want a husband who I could blame of that the light bulb is not working and it is need to be fixed or replace. He should be good at carpentry so that I do not have to call a handyman for major or minor problems in the house.
I want a husband who has a great career and will provide plenty of money for the needs of our family. I want a husband who will provide everything to his family including food, cloth, and shelter. I want a husband who would work everyday so that I do not have to get up early in the morning and get myself ready to work. I want a husband who would work eight hours a day and comes home with a positive attitude. My husband will always strive as hard as he can to get a promotion from his job.
My husband only chooses to go out with friends once or twice a year and certainly does not expect to dress up and wear fancy clothes. These outings could include bowling, gathering at a pool hall or dinner at an all-you-can-eat rib joint. A good husband would certainly be grateful that he did not have to arrange for childcare and might ever thank the little woman for taking care of that.
