Why to advertise on radio:

• Because radio gets results.

• Some people don't watch television.

• Lots of people hit the mute button when they see TV advertisements.

• Many people record their favorite television shows and fast forward through the commercials on playback.

• Print advertising is going out of style. Newspaper readership is way down.

• Radio commercials touch everybody - Guess what --- 95% of all consumers listen at home, at work and in their cars.

When to use radio advertising:

• When u want to breath new life into an old brand

• When u need to trim the budget and increase the sales

Which radio station:

Larger stations cost more, in the same way that larger print publications do.

If you know your target buyer is young, don’t just invest in an AM station targeting an older market, even if it is cheaper on the surface.

How radio advertising works:

It’s all about repetition. Unlike print advertising where repetition has a diminishing effect, radio advertising has the opposite effect with response rates building over time.
