Women

Different people have different philosophies about women. Some men have a better understanding behind the complex minds of a female. Apparently, I have very little experience in this field. I have a simplistic point of view, but I think women tend to complicate things, then they get angry when I don’t agree with them.
Let me begin by saying that this particular girl is not my girlfriend, yet she insists that we are dating. One day she decides to get angry at me for not giving our “relationship” a title. She had obviously been drinking and was speaking without thinking. Eventually she says to me, “Fine, it’s over.” Soon after the unexpected ending, I hear a dial tone. First of all, I will not call someone back after they have hung up on me over something so stupid. Secondly, I didn’t realize what just happened or why she was mad. So I figured if it was an accident she would call me back. If not, then I would just dismiss the whole event and move along.
A week goes by and I still haven’t called her back. She hasn’t called me the whole week either. Eventually, my phone rings and it’s her, angrier than ever. The first thing she says to me is, “Why the heck haven’t you called me back this whole week?” She said this with a few more expressive words and some other things that I didn’t bother to listen to.
After she calmed down, she asked me the question, again I answered, “Man, if you’re trying to cool off boiling water, you don’t turn up the heat! You let it cool off by itself.”
She didn’t find this to be a very good answer and replied, “Idiot, you can’t apply the laws of physics to women.”
