There is a myriad of things wrong with the society in which we currently live. Of this variety is government corruption, violence, and religious extremism. These terms have become unsettlingly common, and ought not to be.
The phrase Ð''government corruption' is often associated with a conspiracy theory. This is not necessarily true. Throughout history, there have been people in the government that only care about themselves and bend laws to accommodate their own needs. Also, political status has often been misused to abuse, manipulate and extort. These are heinous crimes and should be punished severely, but the truth hardly ever comes out, and if it does, the offender's punishment is usually lessened greatly. This is indeed a problem, and if it continues, democracy itself could be at stake.
If the public ever does get wind of a corrupt government official, there could be a mass outbreak of crime and violence. This is a very likely reaction that has been given to that kind of political behavior. Violence constitutes a large, almost complete percentage of crimes in the world. For whatever reason it is commited, it is utterly, and most unforgivably wrong.
One of the most terrifying and unnecessary cause of violence that is becoming more Ð''popular', for lack of a better word, is religious extremism. In many parts of the world, the local religion is the law of life. Anyone or group of people doing anything to the contrary are sinners, and therefore must pay the price of death. This kind of behavior exhibits intolerance and needs to be extinguished. Unless these religious groups show some sort of tolerance toward the rest of the world, there will always be horrible violence taking place, and lives being stolen away unnecessarily.
