The Worst Teacher Ever
My parents and I had the finest life in Miami, Florida. When my uncle died we moved Detroit, Michigan to go live with my aunt and my mema while they mourned his death. He died by having a rare flesh-eating-skin-disease that ate away his flesh. I could not stand Detroit it was loud, crude and had rats in places rats are not usually in. The most terrible part about was that I had school coming up and I was not at ease, being told that I was going to have the worst teacher ever.
We could hear her slithery foot steps coming down the hall. Bam! The door slammed against the wall, as she walked in. She looked as if she just died and came back to life. "Good morning class", she cackled, sounding like the wicked witch of the west. One by one for the rest of the day she called students up to the blackboard and humiliated them. Once it was my turn she was an explosive ready to blow up. I did not make it any better, but thankfully, I was saved by the bell.
For the rest of the week she picked us off like a dinosaur using a toothpick after a big meal. After two weeks of this torture, I finally got the courage to ask why she was so tough on us. She reasonably said, "You and your fellow classmates do not work hard enough, I pushed you guys." I was shocked, she really was not as malicious as we thought, and she was just for our dull, but necessary education.
The next week, there was a change in my teacher's bleak wardrobe and sinister attitude. We even thought we saw her crack a eccentric smile once or twice. There was no homework for months and I actually was happy to go to class everyday. Don't get me wrong, there were sometimes she went off the war-path, but she came back. Yep! It smells like a keeper to me.
Now-a-days, my parents and I moved back to Miami, when my aunt got remarried. I kind of miss Detroit and my friends there. Most of all I miss my-so-called-worst-teacher.
