My first career choice is a pediatric physician, commonly called a pediatrician. A pediatrician is a doctor who manages the health of a child. The ages of the children taken care of ranges from birth to eighteen years of age. It is starting to become common that the ages may range from birth to twenty-one years of age. Pediatricians gives children physical exams, vaccinations and etc. To become a pediatrician, you will need four years of medical school and three years to complete a general pediatrics residency. There are many steps I can take here at U to prepare myself for this career. I will make sure I'm on top of my classes, join clubs, and do internships.
