Have you ever had a time in your life when you see something and you become totally fascinated about it? A feeling so strong, so powerful, that no matter what you're doing, this just keeps popping into your mind, and that just makes you more curious about it? That was the feeling that took over me when I saw a computer for the first time. And since that moment I knew that I would devote my entire life to Information Technology.

After I started to learn about information systems, and how they worked, my curiosity grew more and more each day. I was devouring every book, article and tutorial I could find on topics such as programming, networking, operating systems, databases, and everything else related to IT. Nevertheless, when I was in college, I learned that passion, motivation and superior technical skills by themselves do not guarantee your success, neither there, nor in a corporate environment, because the sad truth is that the majority of your peers do not have that same motivation. However, they are your teammates in all group activities, so their performance also affects the overall outcome of the group. That was why I had to develop leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to get the best out of people, achieving excellent results in many different situations. As a result, I became one of the top students of my class when I graduated, obtaining the highest GPA in the Computer Systems Engineering program.

When I entered the professional environment, I was eager to finally be able to apply in the real world all the theory that I had learned. Since I am fascinated with the ability to create new things, I chose to start my journey in the IT field becoming a developer: that way I could apply my programming skills to create enterprise applications for a real organization.
