Abstract
This paper analyzes the style of the leadership with their positive as well as negative attributes of their leadership styles. Also shows the situation that leader had handled conflicts and difficulties they faced or encountered and their tactics for the resolution in their own way. Also assess the leadership skills and theirs’ effectiveness for the proper management. Trends of leadership can be identified through this work that how leaders provides value to the followers and helps them to empower wherever and whenever it is needed. During the leadership period, sometimes that moment strikes where there is huge dilemma for the leaders what to decide upon, but they have to decide based on their values to the people, society and nation. Some of the situation could be traced through the way that leaders dealt in different obstacles and hurdles then only they become success. Leader might not have only positive sides but they could have negative sides as well in a sense that they might go so aggressively for the achievement of their goals.
Leadership Styles: Adolph Hitler
Leaders should posses some of the effective leadership skills with positive attribute that intends to empower their people and manages the conflicts accordingly with the situation for the betterment of the nation. Adolph Hitler (1889-1945) is the founder as well as leader of the Nazism. He is a German dictator born in Braunau, Austria and died in Berlin, Germany. After the strikes of the World War I, Hitler joined the German army voluntarily and later he was rewarded for his bravery but unable to got the chance for the good rank. After becoming the strongest party in Germany as Nazis got about 40% of the total votes in the elections he became the chancellor for Germany in 1993. Hitler reveals his enthusiasm through his speeches. His motion and moves were so much influential that every audience tends to listens his speech. His speech is full of the emotions, thunderous and adoring that makes his audience full of envy and hatred because of the injustice and inhumane behavior done to Germany. Being a leader, he able to maintain legitimate power, however he could achieve. Hitler was known for deeply critiquing those who reported to him and become mad and disturbed with mistakes. Ultimately, his gluttony and desire led to the initial assault of Poland and resulting in the World WAR II (Leadership theory and Behavior, 2010). He honestly came to believe that the best people are the Germans only; that they should have to be given with more priority rest (Jews) should have to be abolished from their territory. He was really, really committed to make Germany the world’s superpower and committing genocide.
Positive and negative attributes
His determination has great values for him as he wants to achieve with his capability and great will helped him to meet his objectives and whatever he required. Despite of the fact that he was a great leader but he lacks ethical behavior with moral reasoning, he takes advantages of the different situations no matters who and what in the path is (Burns, 1978). He has got huge self-assurance of his own abilities, his dominant speeches his ability to plan war despite of the decisive places, dangerous situations in a critical time. He has been a good boss to his subordinates who had worked for him. No one gets annoyed or madden by his activities or rudeness, even he remembered their birthday and names visits them whenever they got ill. He was socially good at all. His intelligence makes Germany to comeback with the flourishing economic state after the edge of the economic disaster they faced. He has got the ability to brainwash his people about their objectives and manipulated them about the importance of those objectives and build their workforce accordingly. He was so determined and focused with his mission, objectives and goals. He forced German people to uphold Anti-Semitic values that took away people’s free will. He considered Jews as a “evil” and treats them so brutally that take away the lives of the millions peoples, that is huge number of innocent lives lost (Hitler Speaks, 1990). Also he showed many symbols of being shady, tries to mop out an intact race being one of them. Hitler was also provoked by his own egoism as he craved authority and wanted everyone to live like he wanted. He was task oriented leader with clear vision and knowledge of the path that he creates a strategy and directed his people for an attempt to execute his vision. He is a transformational leader that leads to positive changes in those who follow. There was no any association between the Hitler’s leadership style and the needs of Germany as he absolutely focuses on his personal goals instead of the need of his people.
Leadership skills of Adolph Hitler
As he was transformational and authentic leader he has got power and their people are under his control and command so he gave no any chance to others to oppose him as he was going so aggressively in order to maintain their supremacy in entire Germany. His judgments’ were quick and decisive. He handles each conflict in such a way that nobody could avoid or disobey him. He was so ambitious with his aims and objectives that he would ever listen of anyone. He has got his intelligence for the manipulation of people and he also knows for the brainwash of the people and makes them ready for the every events and movements. He was so influential that everyone would follow him blindly he floods the emotions of their entire mankind of Germany people against the Jews.
Adolph Hitler is also a strategist that always comes up with the some of the strategies that is intended for the resolution of the conflicts when they arise. For example No military officers able to find out the reality of the situation on the ground from the hundreds of miles away and he was there that he could control all but the smallest units at the front (A Delta Inc., 1889). His consistency and stubbornness makes him to be effective leadership. He treats his people as a family like he used to play with their children and enjoyed with them. He manages his people is such a way that whenever they need they acts proactively he clearly defines his vision and the actions before he takes any steps he makes his people so responsible for every task that they are assigned for. Accordingly with his peoples’ capabilities he assigned the task that has to be fulfilled on time with good results than before. So if he founds any lack with his people’s capabilities and their skills meanwhile he trained them accordingly to meet their objectives and motivates them by empowering with their personal development of skills, techniques etc. He directs the way and shape people’s interest towards their achievements so that they could give their best effort for the betterment of the human kind of their natives. He always shows his cool behavior towards his team and subordinates so that they could like to hear his saying and behave in a cool manner that everyone wants to be motivated for their movements and the desire of his needs.
