ares was a brave and strong, bloodthirsty hammer. he was tall and handsome but cruel and vain. he is an imperative symbol of war and destruction and his symbols are a helmet, known as a gleaming helmet to put on his head in war and a sword, to kill people and to fight in the war. although he was the son of hera and zeus, which is one of the reasons that he was famous, unfortunately, he was the most hated god among other olympian gods. he took pleasure in bloodshed and delighted in battles. ares, the god of war, was known for many thighs and as well he was a courageous god. he hated all gods including his father zeus , except eris and aphrodite, eris was his daughter and aphrodite was his wife who was his consort. amazingly he had a few children with his life partner aphrodite and they're : diemos, phobos, and enyo, as they were the god of terror , fear, and old war, ares is not just the god of war but he is also the god of agriculture, war booty, city defense, civil order, anger, violence, courage and fear. ares had both good and bad deeds. his most favorite activity was to fight for the sake of bloodshed and to fight to save or avenge someone. he had many bad deeds, for instance, one of the bad things he did was that he transformed two people into snakes just because they drank water from a lake named after him. another of his bad deed was when he had an affair with hephaestus, who was already the wife of his brother. ares was also nice as he did some good deeds as well. for example, he arrested the sinful man sisyphus who kidnapped the god of death and also murdered hallirhothios, who raped his daughter. he also aided the warrior women battle of amazon which is a good deed.
