There is a new hi-definition battle going on for your movie buying dollar, and while Toshiba's HD-DVD and Sony's Blu-ray are busy duking it out, many industry guru's are recommending to hold off on re-buying your DVD collection until the dust settles.
Whether you consider yourself tech-savvy or not, chances are you tend to collect the movies you love and I'm guessing you don't collect them on laserdiscs or VHS tapes. That's because since DVD's hit the market in 1997 nothing has been able to compete for nearly 10 years. With so many hi-definition televisions making their way into homes across America people are starting to realize the resolution on their "Hi-Def" football games is far superior to that of their favorite DVD.
