CB Richard Ellis is the number one real estate service company in the world, this is a new honor to them. Recent company mergers placed CB Richard Ellis in first place, over Donald Trump. They are basically playing monopoly on a large scale, with tons of risks, and the money is real. The services they offer the world, are asset services, which provide portfolios of assets owned by individuals, or corporations. They appraise the value of the assets, and then give creative solutions, about what they can do with their property portfolios. Also they inform companies about potential development, and investment opportunities, such as investment in a new loft downtown, or office building. These investments bring in money based on occupancy rate, CB Richard Ellis is one of best property management firms. Advising people is one major part of this business, so the relationship with clients must be in good shape. Clients are usually treated to a taste of the high life, they get gifts such as being put in 5-star hotels, with first class service when they come to make a deal. I will need to get my golf game in order because golfing is just one way that you befriend your client. These services are vital to the world, because they help the world develop into what it is today, and help companies make informed decisions about what to invest their capital in. They recently started to invest money in entrepreneurial minded people with innovative business ideas, by allocating some of its money into venture capital.

Trammel Crow is responsible for building value of companies, by offering creative solutions, and superb buildings. Trammell Crow Company serves users of, and investors in, office, industrial, retail, healthcare, student housing, multi-family residential and mixed use projects, investment funds and joint venture capital programs. They own an astonishing 550 million square feet worth of warehouse space, which is rented out to other businesses, and a grand total of 1.7 billion square feet of property. They recently acquired the Health South headquarters building in Birmingham, Alabama for a reported 60 million dollars, and in 2006 they completed 6 billion in active developments, and new investment projects. They did research into Real Estate Investment Trusts in China which showed that China’s REIT’s was two times higher than in the U.S. Its research like this that helped show companies that investment in China real estate market was far more profitable than investing in U.S. real estate. Since acquiring Trammell Crow, CB Richard Ellis has skyrocketed into the first place spot in real estate services, based on revenue in 2006. They reportedly took in 4 billion dollars in new revenue over 2006.
