Should gum chewing allowed on the school campus? Have you ever wonder how chewing gum could help you on your test? Can chewing gum be rude in the class room? Did you ever wonder if chewing gum could help with peer pressure? When you chew gum it can actually helps your memory and help you to concentrating. Scientist did a study conducting part of there class to chew gum while talking and exam, the other part of the class did not chew gum. The scientist discovered that chewing gum help to relax there mind enough to do better on there test. Gum chewing can be a disgusting, rude, unattractive thing to do. Also it can be a distraction in the class room with blowing bubbles and popping noises. Our environment suffers take a walk down any school halls and you see those big, round black spots on the pavement? That ' s gum. The chewer dumps his wad where it finds it ' s way to the bottom of our shoes. Or, even more worst, on our hands as we touch the bottom of tables and counters in cafeteria. Chewing gum at school can help with peer pressure. If you knew someone that had bad breath all time and know matter how much he flossed and brushed he teeth he still has bad breath. So he would not talk with his friends and would not attend in school activities . With chewing gum it could help him be more talkative and be in school activities. It might even help a lot with girls. I think that because of my learning skills I would improve if I could chew gum in my classrooms. It might make me feel more confident while taking test and allowing me to not freak out during test and forgetting everything I study for. I feel that chewing gum should be allowed in classroom that way kids wouldn ' t sneak it in the class and give it a try at least. Chewing gum can also help with Add and ADHD kids. It helps them not to be fidgety and some with movement and concentration.
