Following the scenario, the software company are now stay in “Initial” level in perspective of Capture Maturity Model. Because they face few difficulties like improper team works, inability of setting up and meeting deadlines, inconsistency of workloads among the employees and unclear responsibilities of employees. That’s why this company in “Initial” level.

If they want to go the top level of CMM then, they have to follow some rules.

The company in stay at first phase. If they want go high, they should go to “Managed” level.

• Managed: In this level the company have must planning.

Considering the scenario, they have Appointing a person who is designated by the company, can monitor a particular timeframe, workload, proper team work and responsibility for all their work. If they fulfil their condition then, they have to go in next CMM level.

• Define: In this step, company must should be their documentation

of all their work. If they have documented all their work, then documentation will help them in much of the future if any problems arise. Also test the lifecycle and intregation.

For this reason they have to make their “Documentation”.

• Measured: If the company complete the previous step, then they

will come to this step. In this step, they will follow some rules. Such as-

            1. Test Measurement

            2. Software quality Evaluation.

            3. Advanced peer reviews.

           4. Statistical and other quantitive things.

 All the above conditions can be fulfilled to their highest height.

• Optimization: Defect prevention, test process optimization, quality

control are the main rules of this step. If any company have this kind of feature, then they are in high level.

Following the scenario and situation, if they fulfil the all condition of CMM then company will come to higher level.
