The manner in which quality objectives are established and managed will have an enormous impact on the pubs performance. The quality objectives will either drive strategic improvements throughout the pub, significantly elevating the importance of the quality management system, or they'll simply become a meaningless exercise in data collection. It all depends on how the task is carried out. The basic requirements for quality objectives are quite simple; Establish quality objectives at relevant functions and levels and make sure they're measurable.
The second performance objective is Speed, The speed of service in the Jersey Lily can be slow at times, but this shows customers that the products that they are getting are of a high quality because they are being served fresh. The speed of service however on drinks is continuous because the level of staff is always high enough to meet customer demand.
The third performance objective is dependability, Promised delivery time minus actual delivery time, should equal zero. Meaning that when the customer orders their meals at the bar, and the staff say that service today is going to be 20 minutes the delivery time of their meal should take no longer than the pre-specified time, In the case of the Jersey Lily, some waiting times given are slightly n the long side, but this is due to the fact that the meals are fresh, it takes a lot longer to make a beef chilli than it does to make a cheese sandwich, if customers are notified of the wait time then this objective is satisfied.
The fourth performance objective is flexibility, the pub is very flexible when it comes to food, because the meals are fresh, variations of each product can be made. By offering a flexible menu, the pubs client base is expanded
