What is going on in Darfur? Darfur is a region of Sudan, Africa where there is non-stop fighting, murder, rape, etc. There was conflict in Darfur before all the fighting because there was tensions between two ethnic groups for resources and stuff. A civil war broke out and the Sudanese government sent troops in response to the civil war. The Sudanese government is committing war crimes and genocide and they need to be stopped before more people die. On top of all of the trouble, there are many deadly epidemics that the Darfurians have to deal with like Cholera, Dengue fever, Dysentery, HIV/AIDS, Leishmaniasis, Malaria, Schistosomiasis, Typhoid fever, Trypanosomiasis, and Tuberculosis (TB).
