Leader

In Enders Game, there is a character that really stands out as a leader. This person constantly uses leadership throughout the whole novel. He is Ender Wiggin, and his leadership can be broken down to three main qualities. The first is COURAGE. In the very start of the book Ender shows immense courage by standing up against Stilson, and his group of friends. Ender is outnumbered and is much younger than the bullies that stand before him. But instead of being a coward and running away, Ender stands his ground and fights. Ender defeats the adversaries before him using immense courage. Once again Ender shows his COURAGE by standing up against another group of older boys. This time Ender is cornered in the shower at Battle School by Bonzo and his friends. Bonzo then steps up to fight Ender one on one. Just like when Stilson fought Ender; Ender comes out the victor. Ender possesses another leadership quality; having a POSITIVE ATTITUDE. While Ender is a member of Salamander Army, he is cast aside and is thought to be unneeded by his commander. Instead of sulking around and not doing anything about his dilemma; Ender decides to train and improve by practicing during his free time with his fellow launchie buddies. Later on, Ender is made commander of Dragon Army and once again shows his leadership through a positive attitude. Ender is constantly being tested as a commander, and is given multiple battles a day. Ender embraces this challenge with a good attitude; and by doing so gets the hopes and spirits of Dragon Army up and ready to fight. The third leadership quality Ender possesses is, SERVICE. Ender shows this by always being kind to his teammates and listens to what they each have to say. Also when Ender is the best at Battle School at basically all that he does; Ender never once boasts or brags about his greatness and repetitive wins. This demonstrates that he is very humble and shows humility. Ender is a great leader
