                                                 Writing Experience about Poetry

                When I was a child I hated writing but it became my habit to write poetry. Now I enjoy this very much. When I was in 12 class, I started writing poetry. In starting I faced so many difficulties. But overall, it was a great experience for me, when I wrote my first poem. I have written so many poetries on several topics and also I faced many difficulties during writing the poems.

               The first poetry which I wrote was about love. It was a remarkable moment for me in my life. I enjoy very much when I write poetry. I mostly write poems about love because it provides a wide range to write something namely about happiness and sadness. Mostly people like poems about love because in these poems they find some incidents similar to their life. Some people who are in love may be happy or sad. So I prefer to write poems on the behalf of others life. I enjoy very much when I am going to write poetry based on a real life. Moreover, it also has a message for the audience from which they can learn something.

              Furthermore, I wrote poems about friendship, nature as well as about social activities. These are also very good topics. Every writer wants to write something on these topics. These topics also provide a wide variety of range to write poetries. In the modern era, the meaning of friendship has totally changed from past. Most of the people make friends on the behalf of money and cars. In my poems, everyone can see the glimpse of these activities. For instance, “A person will become a true friend when he helps his friend in difficulties”. The beauty of nature inspires me to write something about nature, its beauty and qualities. When a writer reveals the beauty of nature, qualities and how we can preserve it in poems, it is the best way to give message to others and through poems others will know about nature and learn its qualities.

                  In addition, writing poetry is not easy. It is one of the difficult tasks not only for me also for others. While writing a poem I faced so many difficulties. Sometimes I left the poetry in-between without finishing it. For writing poem, a person should have deep thinking and also have proper knowledge of a particular language in which he wants to write poetry. When I started writing poems, I did not have deep thinking and good vocabulary. Then it was very difficult for me to write long poems, also I was unable to finish it properly. My sister helped me to finish the poetries with suitable ending. I almost write 90% of poems in my mother tongue Punjabi. But I studied only 12 class, so I did not have a wide variety of words which I can use in my poetry. Grammatical errors are also a common problem among writers during their starting days.
