I chose and advertisement that I found in my Better Homes and Garden magazine. It is a three-page ad that starts on one page with two young women who look identical. It says below their picture "Two women apply for jobs. They look exactly alike. On their applications they list the same last name, address and phone number. They were born to the same parents, on the same day, same month, same year. Everything is identical. The receptionist says, "You must be twins." They say, "No." How is that possible?" You see this page first and you have to turn the page to see what the answer is. Well ofcourse the advertisers have your attention now because you are trying to figure out this riddle. It is actually a very clever way to catch a consumer's attention.
Once you turn the page, there is a 2003 Ford Expedition and the answer to the riddle is they are two from a set of triplets. How in the world does a set of triplets or this riddle for that matter have anything to do with the new 2003 Ford Expedition. It states below the answer that "if the answer wasn't obvious, start thinking differently. Which is exactly the strategy behind the totally new 2003 Ford Expedition." Give me a break! This is definitely a Non sequitur for I see nothing that ties this riddle to the vehicle.
