Assignment:

A. PLANNING

1. Creating an Inter-Agency Committee on Illegal Drugs that will integrate efforts and strengthen the partnership of all stakeholders.

Analysis: To fasten the suppression of the illegal drugs in the country by having small circle of agencies to bring together the stakeholders.

2. Increasing the number of residential treatment and rehabilitation facilities in all regions of the country.

Analysis: During the first month of President Duterte there are a lot of citizens who voluntarily surrendered from selling and using of illegal drugs. He encourages to increase the number of rehabilitation areas to accommodate these people.

3. In the field of tourism, To construct more access roads and tourism gateways to service centers and tourist sites.

Analysis: To have road development projects to complement with the thrust to provide modern agriculture, infrastructural by expanding and improving the construction and rehabilitation of roads and the irrigation and establishing modern harvest and post-harvest facilities to minimize losses.

4. To strictly enforce fisheries laws, particularly on illegal fishing and promote aquaculture along river banks and in backyards.On the other hand, to accelerate infrastructure spending by improving national roads and bridges and implementing the Mindanao Logistics Infrastructure Network and other road network master plans.

Analysis: To protect the aquatic environment from illegal activities that can harm and damage the aquatic resources and to create and pursue inter-island linkage projects.

5. The revival of the operation of the Pasig River Ferry Service System is a viable option for the severe traffic congestion in Metro Manila.

Analysis: A solution to lessen the severe traffic in Metro Manila and also to recover the old Pasig River from being polluted. It can also add as a tourist attraction in Metro Manila. It needs support from those people who lives near Pasi River to cooperate in the change.

6. To reduce queuing time at ticketing stations, tickets for the trains will be made readily available and easily accessible to the riding public from malls, stalls and stores.

Analysis: To make it more convenient to the Filipinos to buy tickets in accessible areas that lessen the people from queing in ticketing stations near the train stations.

7. The Laguna Lake shall be transformed into a vibrant economic zone showcasing ecotourism by addressing the negative impact of the watershed destruction, land conversion and pollution. The poor fishermen will have priority in its entitlements.

Analysis: To make use for another purpose the Laguna Lake after all its negative things happen on the lake and the fishermen will also benefit in this project by having their entitlements.

8. WI -Fi access shall be provided at no charge in selected public places including parks, plazas, public libraries, schools, government hospitals, train stations, airports and seaports.

Analysis: Same as the other well developed countries to openly have a Wifi access for the public for free but still how it can be done if even in household areas who are paying there is a low internet connection.

B. MANAGEMENT

1. Addressing global warming shall be the top priority, but upon a fair and equitable equation. It must not stymie in the industrialization.

Analysis: Management in protecting the environment and to lessen global warming at the same time it cannot also hinder the progress of the industrialization of the Philippines.

2. To conduct a nationwide soil analysis to determine areas most suitable for rice farming to optimize production with the use of effective soil rehabilitation and fertilization.

Analysis: To add more areas in farming to maximize the production of agricultural products in the Philippines that makes the commodities will be in a lesser price.

3. To have adequate disposal facilities for the Metro Manila Garbage, the final closure and rehabilitation of the Carmona Sanitary Landfill shall be pursued while the adoption of appropriate waste-to-energy facilities

Analysis: Metro Manila is considered as one of the polluted city in the Philippines, it needs practice and discipline in proper disposal of garbage and also to have assistance in Carmona Sanitary Landfill.

4. To help avoid squatter-like conditions in relocation sites, we urge utilities like Meralco and electric cooperatives to exercise their social corporate responsibility by making direct connections to relocation sites and depressed areas.

Analysis: To ask financial support from the private entities that can lessen the expense of the government for the relocation of the squatters and also to prevent future accidents that might happen.

C. HUMAN RELATIONS

1. The administration shall implement a human approach to development and governance, as we improve the people’s welfare in the areas of health, education, adequate food and housing, environmental preservation, and respect for culture.

Analysis: That adds to the trust of the people that this will be a good government that they can receive a lot of benefits from the government.

2. To help ensure that the hard-earned money of the Filipinos overseas are put into productive use, a mandatory financial education for all migrants and their communities will be pursued with incentives to encourage entrepreneurship among them.

Analysis: To have assistance to the OFWs for them to have an idea on how to use in an effective manner the money that they earned and that will be not wasted for wrong decisions that they will create.

3. The beneficiaries of 4Ps shall be made to become independent and self-reliant after they have graduated from the program.

Analysis: That aims to present it with other forms of assistance,
