First to come
Everyone comes from different parts of the world. Most of the time people who are born over sea’s are from and island of some sort, tend to serenely move their families to the United States. There is a plethora of reason for this and most of them are for the greater good of he or she’s family.
I was the first person in my family to be born in the United States. Growing up I did not really think much of it at all. I just saw it as something small with no real significance to what I was going to do in life. It was not until I turn sixteen that I realized that I really had to make both sides of my family proud. Me being successful was there dream.
The only problem with that was there dream for me different then the dream that I had for my self. The wanted me to be and engineer like my aunts, or be a financial consultant like my mom. This was a big problem growing because everything I love had to do with ether sports or music. I was the complete opposite of everyone who I lived with. What mad it worst was that my little sister came out and was exactly like them. 4.0 students, national honors society and are probably going to go to Penn state.
When I finally told my mom that I was going to be music major she was upset. She just keep saying to go where the moneys at, and was trying to push her career on me so that I would follow and her foot steps and take her job when I get out of college. Unfortunately if I had to sit at a desk all day I would probably commit suicide. Having a desk jab to me is like being in jail. I cannot stand being confined in one space for a long period of time it’s just not me.
Then another shock to her was my college choice. My mom went to UMBC and my aunt went to John Hopkins. I got into both of these schools but instead I choose to get away. If I would of stayed in Maryland the constant pressures of my mom
