Dear Animal Lover:
Would you leave your pet alone without food, water, or companionship?
If your answer is no, then this letter is for you.
Every year millions of pets become homeless and are left to fend for themselves. With no love or supervision they are killed in car accidents, and starve or freeze to death.
The South Florida Animal Society is a not-for-profit organization, established in 1983, whose mission is to help control the homeless animal population, as well as provide loving, caring homes for those homeless animals.
Our mission is to give as many homeless animals a good life as possible, while trying to prevent them from having to go to "kill" shelters. If your pet deserves a good life then why don't the rest of them?
This year alone the South Florida Pet Society has successfully placed over 400 animals into loving caring homes with over 10,000 placements since 1983.
The South Florida Animal Society is in need of financial support to help fund our various services: animal shelter, veterinary clinic, adoption services, spay/neuter services, as well as an educational program to help prevent future homeless animals in the area.
For this mission to be continued we need your help. A check for $200 provides shelter for the animals for 1 month. A check for $100 will help vaccinate and spay/neuter 7 animals. And a check for $50 will buy food for an animal for 6 months.
If you are not able to provide any of the above amounts, you can send a check for an amount you can afford. Every cent makes a difference.
To make a donation simply fill out the attached card, and send it and your check to us in the prepaid addressed envelope.
