Many of you have set personal goals that you want to achieve as a student for The University of Phoenix. We all may have different goals but they all generally lead to us becoming the best students we can be. My goals for example are, attending class every scheduled day, completing all work assignments on time and as best as possible , and gaining experience from working in teams that I can use not only in school but ultimately in my career.
Being on time every scheduled class day not only shows the instructor respect but helps you become accustomed to showing up regularly and punctually when need be. Getting in the habit now of being on time regularly to class will assure that you do not miss any important information that is given in regards to the assignments for the next scheduled class. Not only can this goal be put to play for class but also for team meetings. Setting a goal to be punctual whenever it is expected will not only help you in school but in the work force as well.
Just as being on time and attending every class and team meeting may be a difficult goal to accomplish for some students, getting straight "A's" may be for others. Many students may have set goals to "just pass" while others have set goals to get the highest grades possible. My goal falls into neither category. My goal is to complete every work assignment on time and as best as possible, if every assignment is an "A" then great.
Again, the goals I have set to achieve from working in a team might not be the same as the ones you have set. In general I believe some of our goals will be to get along with our team members, complete work assignments when they are due, and attend every team meeting on time. Cooperation amongst team members will assure that assignments will be of good quality and be done on time.
