Many believe that if global warming continues to increase and raises the earth's atmospheric temperatures, the melting of the polar ice caps could become a reality. This would cause devastation to many parts of the world as massive flooding will be eminent. Also, unrelenting heat waves, massive forest fires, devastation of aquatic life, and disappearing species.
