In the world we are living nowadays, people are slowly becoming more or less like robots-busy working and minding their own business from morning till midnight. This routine then goes on day by day until someone is sick or ‘worn out’. But, people are very different from robots that are programmed in their system to do something until it is completely done; humans on the other hand have the choice to make in their daily lives that will significantly impact the way they feel mentally and physically. There are a few initiatives that myself and everyone could adhere to lead ourselves to a healthier and happier life.
The first simple yet important thing that one could do is by getting enough sleep every day. According to health scientists, a normal adult requires about 8-9 hours of sleep and 9-10 hours for children and teenagers mostly. The benefit when we sleep is that the brain helps to remove harmful toxins that keep on messing with our feelings and also distracting us to sleep soundly. Sufficient sleep will boost our positive thinking hence preparing ourselves to make the day better than yesterday.
Next, is consuming healthy meal every day. A person eating fruits and green vegetables instead of junk food can make that person more energetic and happy although the sugar content is low. There is no denying that sugary food brings out the satisfaction and energy boost inside of you but the after effect is quite dangerous if it’s not controlled. Anyway, these fruits and vegetables act as an enriched source for growing immunity system, skin clarity and enhance your eye-vision. One’s self esteem will escalate if all the mentioned aspects are improved.
The third method of improving a person’s life quality is, exercise. It does not matter whether it's a brisk walk, a quick jog, dancing or anything like that will keep you feeling strong, happy and increase immunity of course. It’s not possible to exercise daily but practicing it twice a week will definitely make a difference in oneself. You will be surprised by the results if you make exercise as part of your lifestyle.
Last but not least, always stay true to be who you are. Never change yourself for anyone or anything. Keep on believing in yourself because everyone is special in their own way. Remember that every time you wish to be someone else, there is always someone else who wishes to be you. With that, you will not look down on yourself and always have faith for being who you are. That eventually makes a person happiest and healthiest as he or she could be.
