If God Is Good

If God truly intended the world to be a perfect place why did he allow Satan to enter it? Why would a loving God allow something so evil to come and tarnish what he made beautiful? If God knows the future; he knew that Adam and Eve would inevitably eat from the forbidden tree. So, why did he put the tree there and allow them to be tempted? Why would God set us up for failure?
Free will, def. "the ability to act or make choices as a free and autonomous being and not solely as a result of compulsion or predestination. (Encarta Dictionary). God put the tree there so that man could have free will and choice. How can we say "Where is God now...why isn't He here?" when we have taken God out of everything in our lives. God has been removed from our schools, our anthems, our holidays, and even out of our monetary system. The simple answer, it is because of free will that we have taken God out of our lives. Now, in turn we cannot turn to God and ask him where he went, when it was us that took Him out of our lives.
Now, would you plant a tree in your driveway and then get mad when it grows and you can't park your car there? No, because you knew it would grow and you wouldn't be able to park. In the same way why would God get mad at Adam and Eve when they ate from the tree when God knew that they would? The only person to blame is himself. If, God is the One who allowed sin to enter the world then he must be to blame. If, he truly was disgusted with man and his sin, then why did he not totally destroy man in the Flood and start over, instead of turning sin into a vicious cycle?
It was because of His compassion, that God could send his Son Jesus to be the perfect Saviour "...And whoever believes in Him, would not parish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16, Bible). Sure God could have destroyed the human race and started over, but God poured so much love into us when we were created that it is because of his grace, that He gave us another chance. That chance being Jesus, the perfect man, the perfect saviour, the perfect friend. Jesus didn't ask for you to stop having free will and turn us all into robots, all he asked of us was one simple thing, believe. He came to bare the burden
