Pinterest is a web and mobile application company that allows it’s users to share content such as photos, videos and other media content on a common platform. Registration is required for users. Pinterest allows their users to sign up using Facebook and Twitter accounts. A user can upload content onto his/her personalized media platform known as a ‘pinboard'. Each media content is stored on Pinterest in the form of ‘pins’. Users that find a certain pin interesting can add it to their pinboard.
